Partners' Day in Pasłęk

On 11th June our students and school coordinator of the project invited special guests to celebrate Partners' Day. We entertained schools authorities from Pasłęk and our local press. The students involved in the project presented the idea od the project, students' achievements, things they had done in order to promote the project. The young people clearly explained, both in English and Polish, that the project is not only the duty they have to obey but also pleasure and fun.
The guests saw the dvds made by the students, projects of logo and dvd covers. Two of the students were given rewards for the best logo project and the first dvd cover. In the end we distributed dvds - first two products of the first year of our project.
On the 25th June we ended the school year and started holidays! We hope for nice weather in Poland and we wish the same to you! Happy Holidays Everyone! Sylwia - school coordinator in Pasłęk, Poland.

Partners' Day

PARTNERS' DAY MAY 4th 2010 Sharing Our Space

On May 4th we had Partners' Day in Firhouse Community College. It is part of our Comenius project SOS Sharing Our Space.

The students cooked typical dishes from Italy, Poland, Spain and Finland.

We had fun researching the typical dishes from the different countries before deciding on the menu. We spent the morning preparing the food and cooking.

We invited our parents and teachers to have lunch with us. They enjoyed tasting all the delicious food that we had cooked.

We got a lot of compliments and praise!

Everyone knows a bit more about the food eaten in our partner countries.
